Kate Kirk is an artist and potter from North Yorkshire. Her pieces are thrown on the wheel, finished by hand, and fired to stoneware temperatures. She creates functional objects for the home which demonstrate consideration of form, usability, and a sympathy for the natural qualities of clay.
She studied at York University and the Royal Drawing School, and has exhibited her work at Christie's, Buckingham Palace, Mall Galleries and Bankside Gallery in London. Her work is represented in collections throughout the UK and internationally.
